Top 5 Budget Beauty Hacks to Save Money

Spring is in the air, which means it's time to start thinking about all the fun things you want to do this summer. To me, that means its time to start readjusting my budget and thinking about what I am spending. Which leads me to bringing you my best budget beauty hacks to help you save money this Spring!
My best budget beauty hacks cover ALL the essentials:
Haircuts
Manicures
Facials
Massages
Blow Outs
1. Budget Haircut Tips
Unless you are incredibly talented, professional haircuts are unavoidable. I recently found a spot in New York City where I was able to get a haircut for under $30 so I need to share my tip with you all.
Skip the Wash & Skip the Dry!
When you go in for a trim, ask for just that and it will (likely) cut the price of the haircut in half! I did this recently, and while I missed the blow out, it was still a great cut. The stylist will use a spray bottle to wet your hair only as needed and then you can go home with it slightly damp. This also cut the time of the haircut down substantially, which was wonderful for me because I had a busy day!
2. Budget Manicure Tips
Manicures are pricey, but I love having chip-free polish. A great way to cut down the manicure bills is to start adjusting your manicure schedule and skipping the gels.
Skip the Gels & Do (at least some) of your Manicures at Home
Once you go for gels once, you have to keep going back. It is such a bad habit to get into if you are looking to save $$. In the fall, I stopped getting gels and started using the Essie Gel Polish and have already saved hundreds of dollars. This polish stays chip free for at least a week, but can easily be removed and used at home.
If you're worried about shaping your nails, I would recommend going at most once a month to get a basic manicure done in a salon and then do it yourself in between when you need shaping.
3. Budget Facial Tips
Facials at a salon sound absolutely lovely and like a real treat; however, they are very pricey.
Find Some at Home Facial Options
Look into the best options for at home facials as a good alternative to keep your skin hydrated and refreshed. I love getting sheet masks and mud masks to use one or two times a week. You can often find great deals at TJMaxx or Nordstrom Rack!
4. Budget Massage Tips
Wouldn't a massage be nice right now? When you're feeling stiff, but also ballin' on a budget, chair massages and chiropractors can be a great fix.
Get a Chair Massage or Visit a Chiropractor
If you are truly stiff and in need a of massage, chair massages can be an affordable option. Many salons offer them for just $15. You could also see if your insurance covers a Chiropractor to get some true work done on your body. It won't be a relaxing ambiance, but will get the job done and possibly fall within your health insurance plan!
5. Budget Blow Out Tips
Blow outs are SO nice and leave you look #fresh, but they only last a couple days and leave a big whole in your wallet.
Buy a Revlon One-Step Blow Dryer & Styler
I got one of these blow dryers on Black Friday, and I LOVE it. Already blogged about it once in my January Favorites, but this thing will have you looking fabulous in about 5 minutes. It is a great alternative to a blow out. It cost less than even one salon blow out and will be the gift that keeps on giving.
