Many moons ago, my parents had their first date at Puglia. I grew up going there whenever we visited the city and sharing dishes family style from across their menu. Nowadays, Puglia is knowns for their rowdy birthday celebrations and sing-a-longs.
In March, I went to birthdays at Puglia two weeks in a row, and both were so much fun that I wanted to make a review for all of you. If you are considering hosting a birthday at Puglia, here is everything you need to know!

What We Ordered at Puglia for a Party
For a dinner party at Puglia, they have a few different options of Prix Fixe menus. $23.95 per person (limited food & wine), $35.95 per person (limited wine), or $49.95 per person (lots of food and unlimited wine). We went for the unlimited wine option and had family style platters brought out of the following:
Garlic Bread: The crispiest, most delicious garlic bread you can imagine
Hot Antipasto: Fried Clams, Garlic Shrimp, Fried Zucchini, Mushroom Caps and more were served. You could have your whole meal during the appetizers!
Caesar Salad: Always delicious, and maybe (sorta) slightly nutritious.
Chicken Parmesan: Easily one of my favorite dishes out their, their Chicken Parmesan is quite cheesy and delicious.
Chicken Masala: Another great classic, they will bring you a big platter of Chicken Masala.
Pasta with Red Sauce: This pasta will fill you right up. Their red sauce is amazing and much better than anything you can whip up at home!
Pasta with Vodka Sauce: The. Best. Vodka. Sauce. In. Little. Italy.
Dessert Platters: Includes cappuccino, espresso, coffee, cheesecake, cannolis, and chocolate cake!
The Atmosphere
The environment in Puglia is so much fun! It is a cute, Little Italy restaurant with a live singer and tons of people singing and dancing on chairs. Pick this option if you're looking for your meal to be the party!
What to Wear
Anything you want! Most people just opt for whatever they would wear out for the night following dinner.
Who I'd Recommend Going With
Any large group of friends! You will want 6+ people to fill up a table. You can have parties of all sizes though, it just might be harder to finish all the food!
What's your favorite way to celebrate your birthday? Let me know in the comments!
