Chia Pudding | 5 Minute Snacks


When I am home on the weekends, I want to be able to make quick snacks that can satisfy my cravings and hold me over between meals. I have quite a few go to snacks that take under 5 minutes to make that I will be featuring in this series of 5 minute snacks!


Today's recipe is for my healthy, easy, and fast chia pudding! I love making this recipe quickly at night and then having it the following day as a semi-sweet treat.

Ingredients for Chia Pudding

  • Chia Seeds

  • Almond Milk (I like using Chocolate Almond Milk when I have it!)

  • Honey

  • Optional Toppings: Frozen Fruit, Toasted Coconut, Chocolate Chips

Directions to Make Chia Pudding at Home

  1. Pour chia seeds in a tupperware dish. Because these are quick recipes, I like to eyeball it instead of doing a strict measurement. I tend to cover the bottom of my tupper with about 1 cm deep of chia seeds. Roughly 1/4 of a cup.

  2. Add almond milk into the tupperware. You will want roughly 3 times as much almond milk as chia seeds. Roughly 3/4 of a cup.

  3. Stir!

  4. Add a few drops of honey for a little natural sweetness.

  5. Chill in fridge overnight.

  6. Add toppings & mix ins! I like to mix in either frozen fruit, chocolate chips, or coconut. These toasted coconut flakes from Trader Joe's are SO good!! Pro tip: Leave frozen fruit in the pudding overnight to have the flavor fully infuse.
